By installing or using OtoRank on your Shopify store, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install or use the app.
OtoRank scores your Shopify catalog for AI discoverability, generates AI-optimised product descriptions and FAQ content for your review, and publishes discovery files (llms.txt, agents.md) that help AI shopping assistants understand and recommend your products. Generated content is queued for your approval, nothing publishes to your store automatically.
OtoRank is billed through Shopify's own billing system on a monthly subscription with a credit allowance per plan. Free includes AEO scoring with no generation credits. Paid plans (Growth, Pro, Enterprise) include a monthly credit allowance, one credit generates one product's description and FAQ pair. Unused credits don't roll over unless stated otherwise at time of purchase. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through Shopify's billing interface.
Don't use OtoRank to generate content that is misleading, infringes on others' rights, or violates Shopify's own Acceptable Use Policy or Merchant Terms of Service. We reserve the right to suspend access for accounts that misuse the service or abuse shared infrastructure (for example, excessive automated requests outside normal use).
Descriptions, FAQs, and other content OtoRank drafts are generated using third-party AI models. While we aim for accuracy, you're responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing it, OtoRank doesn't guarantee that generated content is error-free or suitable for every use case.
OtoRank is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee specific rankings, AI citations, or revenue outcomes, these depend on factors outside our control, including how AI platforms choose to crawl, index, and recommend content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, otolab.ai isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of OtoRank.
You can uninstall OtoRank at any time from your Shopify admin. On uninstall, OtoRank removes the discovery files it added to your theme and deletes your shop data within Shopify's required window, see our Privacy Policy for details. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of OtoRank after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
